Vetsource

Transforming dark classrooms and narrow hallways into a pet-friendly, open and airy office for employees and their four-legged companions is no easy feat. Yet, this is exactly the challenge LRS Architects design team undertook as part of a complete transformation of a 35,000 square foot technical institute campus for Vetsource.

Integral to the project, Fluxwerx Notch 2 recessed luminaires were selected by the LRS team to deliver dynamic lobby lighting that fit seamlessly into drywall and the existing grid ceilings of the Vetsource environment.

Specified in various lengths, the unique hollow and narrow aperture of Notch 2 linear recessed luminaires subtly punctuate the lobby ceiling plane, and Fluxwerx Anidolic-extraction optics go beyond the design aesthetic—providing precisely controlled optical distributions with no view of the LED point source.

The result is a combination of performance and design—without compromise.

The Fluxwerx Notch is one of our go-to fixtures for many of our tenant improvement projects. First of all, it's available as a quick ship and easy to install, keeping our contractors happy. Notch also offers a clean and simple aesthetic and beautiful seamless light without glaring bright spots. Lighting brings a project to life and has a huge impact on the building occupants. This is why we work with great companies like Fluxwerx and HL Stearns to get it right the first time.
