Metaphore Design, aligned with Sun Life's commitment to health-centric environments, crafted an interior that embodies these principles through thoughtful architectural lighting.
Partnering closely with Metaphore, the Luxtec team curated a lighting solution that ensures visual coherence across diverse work settings while advancing performance targets centered on human comfort and productivity. The selection of Fluxwerx Lines and Portal luminaires reflects a seamless architectural language: both feature clean, minimal forms and optics engineered to deliver precise, controlled and comfortable illumination.
The Portal luminaires, available in multiple diameters and configurations, are strategically integrated throughout the space with varied connection options—addressing spatial diversity without compromising aesthetic continuity. Meanwhile, Lines Suspended luminaires are deployed in tailored compositions—ranging from singular discrete fixtures to intricate patterns—each calibrated to meet the unique lighting demands of meeting rooms, breakout zones, and quiet work areas.
Specified with 90 CRI and a neutral 3500K color temperature, selected Fluxwerx luminaires provide balanced light distributions combining indirect and direct outputs. This thoughtful layering ensures consistent illuminance levels and enhances visual comfort, reducing eye strain and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
